I am still pregnant; and we went to the Cotton Bowl!

I am still pregnant.  And growing.  And complaining but secretly enjoying it.  :)  We still don't know the gender of Baby #3- I am so excited that we have waited!  However- I will be SHOCKED if this baby pops out a girl.  I am 95% positive that there's another little boy in there. :)

22 weeks

31 weeks.  It is WAY bigger in person.

Cotton Bowl!  Aggies dominated!
And our tickets were a gift from Grams and PaPa- so it was a real treat to actually sit close enough to see the game on the field!  (Unlike our season tickets in the nosebleed, ha!)

A "bro pho" at the Cotton Bowl- so good to see old friends!

Drew Purdy: Texas A&M Former Student!

My "baby" brother is now a Texas A&M graduate!!!  Drew graduated on Friday May 11 with a BS in Urban Planning.  I love that he is Class of '12!  Whoop!
So proud of you Drewby!
Boring picture of his gift- but I am kind of proud of the idea!!

Failing to get a picture of me with the kids outside of the newly renovated MSC- it is AMAZING!  Gorgeous architecture, and maintains that 60s vibe of the A&M campus.  I love it!

There's a decent one!  Although you still can't see the MSC very well...

Attempting to walk Dax to sleep during the 3 hour graduation ceremony- not happening.  He was way too interested in waving at people and watching security guards lock families out that arrived too late to get a seat.  It was PACKED!

The man of the hour!

Kids' first trip to Northgate!  :)

High five good job love you!
THen we went out to eat at La Bodega with my Mom, Steve, Audrey, Eric, Drew, + me and the kids- it was an awesome time, awesome food, awesome day!!  So proud of my little brother!

Aggie Game!

We loaded up the kids (and MiMi!) and drove up to Aggieland for the A&M vs SMU football game this weekend- we had a blast, but we were EXHAUSTED!  Here are the adorable pictures-

At the good 'ole Rec center- where our little family started 9 years ago!  :)

We ran into my dear old roomie Crystal, and her boyfriend Jason!  (They both worked at the Rec with us, too)

MiMi was a genius and brought stickers for Ada "just in case"- and we were into them before the game even began.

Lemme at 'em, coach!

YELL LOUDER, 12th MAN!

Watching the game.

Dax fell asleep, and his thumb was SERIOUSLY in the gig 'em position!  This was NOT staged!!!
Excited about this season, and excited to *hopefully* be playing in the SEC next season! :)

Gig 'Em, Aggies!

Ada (pointing to and reading the letters on my t-shirt): "A. T. M."
Me: "Yes- it's an Aggie t-shirt."
Ada: "GIG 'EM, AGGIES!" (and instead of giving a thumbs up, she makes a pirate-hook-like motion with her pointer finger)

This cracked us up! As much as we love our A&M, we don't really pound it into our child(ren)- it's probably been weeks since we taught her that phrase! I think we have a future Aggie in our house....

Cotton Bowl 2011

Grams and PaPa surprised with Cotton Bowl tickets to watch our Ags play LSU! And MorMor was sweet enough to volunteer to watch Ada for Friday and Saturday so we could make a mini-vacation out of it. Even though the Aggies didn't end up pulling off a win, we still had an amazing time!! The Cowboys Stadium is MIND BLOWING, our seats were INCREDIBLE, and road trips with Casey are one of my top favorite things in life! :)

We ran into The Schilhab's at Buccee's in Madisonville! So we caravanned with our matching Aggie flags flying the rest of the way to Dallas- along with a MILLION others!
Casey's becoming quite the tailgate connoisseur- in addition to our usual bacon wrapped-cream cheese stuffed-jalapenos and burgers, he made the most perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked Lamb (it was half-off at Randall's, so he felt compelled to buy it, ha!)- I'm not usually a meat-girl, but even I was impressed. So I took a picture of it:
Casey and Brent, watching the meat:
The boys, posing for some random lady taking pictures of all of the tailgaters:
The Guys (Casey, Brent, Derek, Blake, and Lane):
The guys, again:
Look at that sunset!
Hullaballoo, Canek Canek!
The Ags on the mega-huge, super-ridiculous Cowboy's stadium big screen:
I was obsessed with the big screen- and this view of the stadium wasn't shabby:
Reveille on the big screen:
The Ags in action:
Thank you Grams and PaPa and MorMor!!! We love y'all!!!

WhOoP!!!!!!!

The Ags just upset Nebraska- the game was amazing (OK- a little slow- it was a showdown of the defenses), and I sat here on the couch all by myself and hooted and hollered! (Casey got to go, little stinker!)
But this is not why I'm posting at 11:40pm- over 2 hours after my bedtime. I have to copy down a Facebook conversation stemming from my "status update", simply stating "WhOoP!" that has left me laughing out loud, still to myself!
Alicia: "WhOoP!"
Emmy (Huskers fan, met her in Mexico): "I like you, Alicia.... but can you really feel good about that win? That officiating crew has more money in their pockets for the way they called that game."
-FYI: Nebraska got a TON of penalties- and they were SERIOUSLY all well deserved. I paid very close attention to the reasonings because I was going to be really embarrassed if the game had been called in our favor that blatantly!-
Alicia: Absolutely! They were all completely valid. #81 is a douchebag, Bo Pelini is a hot head, and Trent Hunter's (who went to high school at Katy) left foot touched inbounds before his right touched out on his first interception. The only thing I feel bad about is that Martinez's ankle was further injured by his own center!"
Alicia (again): "And I feel really good I can show my hubs my answer to prove to him I watched this game at home- since he got to actually go!"
Emmy: "Is this the first time you have watched football?"
AJ Pitzer: "hahahahahahahahahaha I just saw my old Chemistry teacher say douchebag! LMAO!" (Text slang for "laughing my a$$ off")
Emmy: "By the way, #81 was trying to get Mathis to get his finger out of his a$$, that's why he kicked him. Check your DVR."
Alicia: "OK, let's say that ONE pentalty gets revoked- the other 20 were still totally valid! And AJ, now you know why I make you guys wait until you've graduated before I accept you as Facebook friends!"

Uncle Drew's Apartment

We made a trip to visit Uncle Drew and see his new apartment yesterday- ie: take him grocery shopping, bring him frozen meals and random items, and take him out to dinner! Ada was such a good girl, and had a blast! She has also officially embraced the idea that MiMi= good guy, Mommy= bad guy. AWESOME.

Drew was still in class when we rolled into town, so we stopped by the good 'ole Post Oak Mall to waste some time first.
I scream! You scream! We all scream for Ice Cream!
MiMi, I cannot window shop at this fast pace.
Hold my hands, girls.
Ada got a new purse at Claire's- she's pretty into handbags and hearts, these days.

Then we met Drew at his new place! SCARY...
MiMi and Drew in his living room- no qualms about hiding the beer pong set up, apparently!
Ada was far too interested in the white game controllers to be posing for any pictures...
On our way out- Sad face. (Only to return minutes later with Charmin- we had accidentally purchased paper towels instead of toilet paper, and Drew said that will NOT do!)
